incoming not counted

hello,
I switched to TE now experimenting on one of my sites. Single page layout is used.
I put the include code between the head tags:
<!--#include virtual="/cgi-bin/te/in.cgi?p=default&$QUERY_STRING" -->
and also set the out syntax in such a way:
/cgi-bin/te/o.cgi?s=60&u=
Out redirection to trades works fine, so out syntax is fine.
Problem is, incoming is not counted at all. I see no incoming traffic at all in admin interface (?)
