tedata folder and .htaccess question

hello
i get 404 error if i go to mydomain.com/te3/tedata directory.
but if i go to mydomain.com/te3/tedata/tips.txt i can see file.
how can i fix this ?

What are your permissions for the tedata directory and the files inside it? The directory should be set to 777 and the files to 666.
