Does TE php 7.2 work fully and correctly on servers with php 7.3 ?
(I have TE php 7.2 installed on a server with php 7.3)

I ask, as visitors repeatedly go to the same trade url over and over, when clicking on the same thumbnail link,
rather than a unique trade url each time.

I found the problem was actually my caching settings.

All works fine in php 7.3 now.
