G'day,
I'm running a Plug/Tube site, and I've got TE3 installed and working fine. However, recently I've started to use a popunder that gets created when the visitor first clicks on the page (only once in a 24 hour period).
The popunder is just a bit of javascript that ends up opening the URL: /te3/out.php?g=skim&l=popunder
I also have plugs on my site that link directly to my trades videos, basically something like: /te3/out.php?purl=<direct link to content>
All the outgoing stuff is getting counted correctly, but I seem to misunderstand the different between the gallery clicks and trade clicks categories in TE?
I would really like to have the plug clicks show up in the productivity stats and value calculations differently from the popunder stats, and anything to do with popunders is forced and shouldn't be used in productivity calculations, however it seems both URLs will apply the hits to "Clk T" in the stats. Shouldn't the ?purl outgoing clicks be counted under "Clk G"?
Or have I not set something up correctly?
Plug/Tube Site, want to get plug clicks counted

Re: Plug/Tube Site, want to get plug clicks counted
I'll try to explain it this way, hope it makes sense to you:Shouldn't the ?purl outgoing clicks be counted under "Clk G"?
te3/out.php?purl=http://www.one_of_your_trades.com/hisplug.html
Link above can be both Clk T (trade click) or Clk G (gallery click). It depends if one_of_your_trades.com is on your trade list or not.
1. If one_of_your_trades.com is one of your trades, then sending surfers to his plug will be counted as +1 Clk T for the trade that clicked on that plug and of your one_of_your_trades.com will also get +1 OutT (one outgoing hit as we've just sent him a surfer).
2. If one_of_your_trades.com is NOT on your trade list, then clicks on this link will be counted as Clk G (since it's a normal gallery and not a trade).
Hope this made some sense to you,
best regards,
Jim
