trade satisfied and autostop

First of all : Great Script!!!!!

But I have two questions :

1. Where can I set a "trade satisfied" url? The url that a surfer gets to if he had visited all other trades. You could send him to a broker at this point, maybe trafficholder.

2. Where or how can I set "autostop" feature? In case a trade sends not enough clicks or visitors back he should get "autostopped". Where can I set this and whrer can I set the parameters?

Don't get me wrong, this script has huge power and is designed very nice, but the documentation doesn't fit this. There are so many features and points to tweak, the documentation, for this amount of settings is a bit "thin"....

But you can change that and till than there is this support forum.

Thanks again guys, really cool piece of software!

Hello,

i'm glad you like TE3 :-)

Let me answer your questions:

1. Click on the Settings icon (top right side of the admin interface) and select "Outgoing redirections". "Exout" is what you're looking for.

These are visitors who visited all trades in your database in one session. You can configure "Exout" in the "Options / Outgoing redirections" pop-up. If "Reset cookie" option is selected (default), "out.php" module will reset "visited trades" parameter in surfer's cookie and it will start again from the beginning of the outgoing list. Unless "outgoing redirection" is set, you won't see any activity for system trade "Exout".

2. "Edit trade / Capping / Min size" is what u're looking for.

If trade size (Raws or Clk TG) based on the last 24 hours is smaller than "Min size" set, trade will be suspended. Take into consideration that new trades have to be in the database for at least 24 hours, before capping type "Min size" becomes active. If you'll ever reset stats for individual trades, 24 hours will have to pass again, before capping type "Min size" becomes active. Enter 0 to disable this capping type.
Example: Min size is set to 50 for all trades. Trades that are in the database for more than 24 hours and their size (Raws or Clk TG) is smaller than 50, will be suspended.

Trades that are suspended by capping module, will never appear on the outgoing list (even if they have forces set), therefore they won't get any traffic. When multiple capping conditions are set for one individual trade, trade gets immediately suspended, if at least one capping condition is fulfilled.

If trade is suspended, background color of the table cell for successive number is yellow colored. To see which capping condition(s) exactly is/are responsible for that, look at the 6 capping columns. Background color of the table cell is yellow colored, where capping condition is fulfilled. In the Edit trade pop-up / Capping accordion, borders of the input fields are also yellow colored, where capping condition is fulfilled.

Trades will remain suspended while at least one capping condition is fulfilled. If you would like to remove some trades from the suspend mode, you can simply disable or change the respective capping type.

3. Yes, we realize you guys need more docs and i have good news. We're working on a new manual right at this moment.

kind regards,
Jim

Hey Jim,

thank you, got that!

That's good news about the updated docs! Still going thru the options and slowly get used into that. The tooltips on question mark help a lot, but found a missing content bug :

In edit trade/advanced "new trade approved" the tooltip says topic not found. The meaning of the option is clear but want to mentioned it.

Another question about capping module :

Is there anywhere an option to make generall settings for all trades in database and future trades? Like "every trade has to send x hits, x clicks.." and so on to get approved / not suspended? Think you get what I mean.
Imagine you have massive amount of trades and have to set this for every trade...

The spider / search engine counts made me mad. They show up in total summary for RAWs and CLK TG. I have read your suggestions here in the forum to fix this, are there plans to have an option to blacklist them? Like an override switch..
Talking about trade statistics the spiders don't bother me. I know they are there but in this case they screw up my stats. If I will to have stats about them I can get them elsewhere, maybe analytics and so on. Switch to kill would be cool, the guys who need them in stats could have them. More user friendly, everyone could make own decisions.

Found a post with a graph in this forum :

http://forum.tradeexpert.net/viewtopic.php?p=802#p802

Is this graph made through TE3? If so, how could I produce such graph? Looking for it but don't get it.

Have a nice day!

Navigate to overview menu, click "+ add trade" button and select "default values" from the dropdown. If you would like to set default values for trade sign-up page, open "settings / Sign-up page" window and you can set defaults there.

Simply edit desired system trade (e.g. Spiders) and UNCHECK this option in the basic accordion:
"Include this system trade in the total summary (excluded ones are marked with a lighter color in the stats table)"
Once this option is unchecked, Spiders will not be included in the Total sum stats anymore.

I hope i answered your questions :-)

Best regards,
Jim

If the cap suspends the trade, will the trade automatically be unsuspended once the cap is met again?

When capping condition is fulfilled, capping module suspends trade. If capping condition is NOT fulfilled anymore, trades automatically gets unsuspended.

Thanks. Another question. A few of the trades I capped are suspended, but still showing up on the toplist. Shouldn't they be auto removed from the toplist if they are suspended?

We'll review this issue. Suspended trades are excluded from the outlist and so they should be excluded from the toplist. In case they're not excldued already, we'll fix this problem.

Not only are the suspended trades not being removed from the toplist, they're not being set as inactive :o :o

Trade status active / inactive has nothing to do with trade being suspended by capping.
When trade is suspended it is in a temporary status, its successive number is marked with yellow color so you can spot it easily. It also gets removed
from the outgoing list. If you take a look at the owed column, owed cell is empty for the suspended trade.
