Installation Folder

I am wondering if the installation directory needs to be /te3/ or can it be installed in other directory name.

Also, I noticed there may be a missing step in the installation directions. It does not say that you need to make the installation folder writable before you attempt to proceed with the install. Simple to figure out but, just letting you know.
