Clicks going only to trades
I've installed TE on several domains. They are all on the same server and all using Smart Thumbs. However on one of the domains when I try to change the "Thumb trade script URLs" in Smart Thumbs from my old script to TE all the clicks then go only to trades. I'm using this setting on all the other domains and they work ok: /cgi-bin/te/o.cgi?s=100.100.0:*&u=#url#
However no matter what setting I try on the problem domain (even /cgi-bin/te/o.cgi?s=100&u=#url#) all clicks still go only to trades. Have any suggestions or ideas as to what to check? Thanks

Is internal skimming set for all or any trades/system? Since you are using ST a dot instead of commas are correct in your pattern, so I dont see any issues there.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think I have internal skimming set for any trades. Just to make sure I'm looking at the right area, in STATISTICS - OVERVIEW - MASS EDIT tab everything is either blank or showing 'Don't Set'.

Hi Stuart,
You are at the wrong area. That is the mass edit functions you use to edit multiple trades at once with the same values after selecting them by checking their respective checkboxes.
If you wish to know if you have internal skim set, click on the "Edit" icon of any of your trades and look up the "Skim Pattern" value.

Thanks for that info. All of my trades have the "Skim Pattern" box empty.
Re: Clicks going only to trades
I was wrong about all clicks going to trades. Actually they appear to be going to trafficholder and then being redirected to whatever sites trafficholder sends them to. I've installed TE on 8 other domains on the same server and they all work perfectly. One of those domains is on a Child of the ST that I use on the problem domain (about-adult-movies.com) and it works perfectly too. Anyone have any ideas on this one?
Thanks
Thanks

Could you give us a url? Or setup a temp te admin access for one of us to take a closer look?stuart19 wrote:I was wrong about all clicks going to trades. Re: Clicks going only to trades
I got it to work by replacing the o.cgi file. When I'd originally installed TE on this domain all of the files failed the File Integrity check. I replaced them from another domain I'd installed it on because they all showed as Passed. I had saved the originals. Clicks on thumbs are now going to 3 galleries and then 1 trade:
(/cgi-bin/te/o.cgi?s=100.100.100.0:*&u=#url#)
However the o.cgi now fails the File Integrity test. Do I need to be concerned about this or is this just a bug in the File Integrity checker?

Yeah, everything works fine for me too. Sounds like something went wrong during the initial install. I'd recommend doing a fresh install and copy the trades from one of your other sites once you finish the new install.stuart19 wrote:I got it to work by replacing the o.cgi file.
